Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her leading roles in numerous television shows, but also her impressive performances in film. She has a large following both on American and Canadian TV. Emily's love for acting first began in the year 12, she went to visit the sister of Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. Once she had began to realize that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons as well as attend auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials and was soon cast in the Canadian children's television show Are You Afraid of the Dark? The show had one episode in which she did not speak. At the age of 15, Emily got her biggest breakthrough when she became a regular of the WB TV series Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled nine episodes later, caught the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and a photographer Emily was featured by Teen in their list of most popular actors under 20. The actress was named the 51st in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
